So we dont keep getting burned by “back home” family drama.
Abu Musa reported the Messenger of Allah (S.A.S.) saying “A believer is like a brick for another believer, the one supporting the other.” (Bukhâri 3 /626 and Muslim 4/6257)

I don’t know if I can love her
From the bottom of my heart though I wanna touch her
Hijab and modesty turn me on
Like I wanna be till I yawn
Long abayah saw my look gave me a pass
All I’m trying to figure out is do she have a fat a##
Let me take her walee for tea
Gather two witnesses then y’all brothers flee
A few short surahs is my dowry
Muslim Ghetto marriage fit for Maury
But the last one I gave my heart, soul and mind
She tortured all three and that wasn’t kind
Ukhti you been her too
By more than a few
Both of our hearts have felt pain
So maybe this love s### just lame
Not to sound nutty we just need to be halal buddies
Allah done blessed you with a lot you cant hide
Be a shame if we couldn’t take a ride
Lips and hips and movie shows and dinner for two
Then go back to our separate homes thats what we do
Not Leave it to Beaver
Not haram either
Muslims with needs
Hopes of being Romeo shattered by past deeds

Yesterday a Muslim cabbie was stabbed. Over the weekend violent and angry protests were held in NYC over the planned opening of a mosque in Lower Manhattan. Other such protests have been held at mosque sites around the country. On the 11th of September they plan to burn the Quran in Gainesville, FL.
As Muslims we have to be students of history. The slick PR and whiny and apologetic nature of many of our leaders and those they put in the media to represent us can only help us so much.
Daisy Khan can take off he hijab; but she still aint nuthin but a raghead to the haters of Islam. Imam Faisal Abdul-Rauf can go on tours for the State Department and give apologetic speeches with questionable theology all he wants but at the end of the day there are those who hate all Muslims.
We are at the edge of violence. It will be directed towards our community. Are you ready? Does your masjid have a security team and a security plan? Do you have a plan to protect your home? Place of business? Wife? Children? Is the only form of security you have calling 911 and crying “help, help”?
Now is the time to focus on self-defense. This means;
- Training in hand to hand combat. Could be boxing, wrestling, martial-arts or a combination of all these arts.
- Those who can legally purchase firearms should keep high-powered rifles in their homes and train their wives and children on how to use them
- Muslims should make use of shooting ranges and paintball. It can be a great group activity for brothers I hear ( although I have never been)
- If you live in a “concealed-carry” state all Muslims should get a license to carry a gun and know how to use it
- All masjids should have security teams and response teams to situations
- If you are a part of a community or have an imam that does not encourage Muslims to defend ourselves then you need to find a new imam or community
- Keep good relations with law-enforcement. Let them know we are not dangerous and will only use violence in self-defense. Let them know that as Muslims we are here to better humanity and our society and want peace with our neighbors; but if tested we will defend.
- Brothers and sisters who cannot legally purchase firearms should train in the lethal use of sticks, stones, knives, choke-holds, and other alternatives.
- Further advice to brothers. This is self-defense, don’t do anything stupid and get yourself locked up.
In the spirit of assertive Muslims and brothers who are ready to defend Allah, Islam, The Quran and the Messenger of Allah ( peace be upon him) brothers will be driving from all over America to Gainesville, FL to confront those desecrating the Quran on September 11 and this is being organized by Shaihk Ramee Muhammad and I am encouraging all brothers to get in contact with him and attend.

I can’t confess that since then, I rush to give Sadaqa as soon as I find out that someone is in need. Nor can I admit that after having read this very Hadith 6 years ago, I have done enough to compensate for my awareness either. But what I can say, is that my heart never forgets, and I am only human. I want to do more, and I want to never be the person who waits until it is too late. If giving is important at all, it is most important, and exceedingly beneficial, during this blessed month. The reward is tenfold, and Sadaqa is “a facet of remembrance” because it is He who tells us:
” Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (2:274)
Personal Du’a: Ya Allah! Let this be as much a reminder to me, as it is to anyone else. Ya Allah! guide us all to, or on, the straight path. Ya Allah! Allow this Ummah to become more like those righteous men and women before us, and grant us patience with Your Mercy. Ya Allah! I beg that You grant us forgiveness our sins, and entry to Your blessed garden, underneath which rivers flow. Ameen!

A lot of masjids and aspiring masjids around the country may be asking themselves this question: we have done the interfaith thing, helped the homeless, volunteered for Katrina relief, let politicians pick our pockets, put an American flag in front of the masjid, condemned our Muslim brothers for the pleasure of non-Muslims, so why oh why are people still fighting our masjid or the building of a new masjid?
A national movement is under way and the movement has been highlighted by the ”Ground Zero Mosque” controversy. The movement is being led by anti-Muslim figures and all-around bigots such as David Gaubatz ( who I exposed infiltrating Dar al Hijrah and CAIR years ago), Pam Geller, Paul Sperry, Jewish Task Force, the Christian Action Network, the Tea Party and others .
In NYC the supposed argument is it is bad adab to have such a big mosque and Muslim community center near Ground Zero. This has allowed mainstream politicians in NYC ( mostly Jewish), some liberals and national Republican figures like Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich to come out against the mosque.
However, as this has turned into a national movement it is plain to see that this is not about a mosque in NYC led by an extremely liberal and apologetic imam; but rather this is a movement led by White Nationalists and Zionists to stop Islam in America.
Gaubatz and others have already stated in the past it is their goal to outlaw Islam and the conversion to Islam in this country. So, today you see protests all over the country like this one in Tennessee; (video removed)
and a further rally in Cali where kafirs brought dogs outside the masjid.
This is being fueled by the surge in White Nationalism with the Tea Party and Zionists. Gaubatz, Geller, Robert Spencer and other bigots have become darlings of the White Nationalist crowd.
The anti-mosque movement cannot be separated from the anti-immigrant movement which disguises anti-Latino feelings or the anti-Obama movement which disguises hatred for blacks. The Tea Party and the affiliated groups are almost all white and tend to be older. They are angry that the grip of White Supremacy is slipping and as Sarah Palin said ” we want our country back”.
The naiveté and foolishness of many Muslims was the fact that they believed if you would just be apologetic enough and kiss enough butt you could get everyone to love you; but when in the history of the ummah did this ever happen? Not even the greatest of creation Nabee Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him) was loved by all and in fact many tried to kill him ( PBUH). Muslims have always had enemies and the forces of Shaytan have been there for 1400 years fighting the spread of Islam.
A question I posed on my facebook was this; why do naive Muslims ( almost always immigrants) choose to open mosques in racist white communities where they can be assured of getting opposition from angry rednecks ( often instigated by Pro-Israel forces)? As Izzy Mo said ” why are they suprsied when rednecks act redneck?” How many such protests have you seen of inner-city masjids in ”the hood”? So why not go where we are welcomed and not beg to be accepted by people who will always hate us?
Open a masjid in the hood and most locals will welcome it and the Tea Party types are scared to come to the Hood anyway so you don’t have to worry about them; but open it in white suburbia and you could get protesters with dogs at the gates. So, how bad do you wanna be down with racist whites and how much crap are you willing to take before you stop licking boots and get the picture?
Those non-Muslims with good hearts you do not have to beg and kiss up to and compromise your deen for. They will naturally, after seeing what is just, come to support the Muslims out of a sense of decency and common values.

Gaubatz, Geller, Spencer, Palin and Gingrich GET READY.
The Muslims are coming….
Mexican migrants bow to ALLAH
Will deal with the Minutemen in a MINUTE MAN
Blond-haired blue-eyed boys in IOWA
Redheads turn to ragheads in TEXAS
White princesses in suburbia now put on NIQAAB
Black youth in the ghetto put the drugs away and pick up QURAN
Some sisters like to crochet and some brothers play with AK”S
Ground Zero mosque Zionists, Crusades and NWO PROTEST
But enter the Houses of Allah with guns drawn be laid to REST
The march of the Muslims cannot be STOPPED
Coming to a theatre near you like a popcorn POPPED

A Poem by Brother Jamil Wright
Over time much has been written about the way,
Many came to Islam out of fear of judgement day
Some left the streets, some overcame drugs
But I was one who left the life of a thug
Not a thug in the way you may think
See I didn do drugs, shit I didn even drink,
The way you define thug you may just be wrong,
Follow me now, I promise not to take long
See, I was a thug in my mentality
Enslaving myself, thinking I was getting free
See our group was the toughest out on the street
There wasn a group out there that we couldn beat
But we found out a thug is not a person with a gun and a cell phone
A thug is a person who imitates Scarface and Al Capone
A thug is not a person who walk like he tough or a junkie in a nod
A thug is a dude who jacked up cuz he cant connect to God
A thug not a person who takes other peoples wealth
A thug is a person who can beat everybody but hisself
People may see a thug and say, that dude all the way down
Others may think hes a ringmaster, but he knows he nothing’ but a clown
He wants to be free of vices deep in his heart,
But until he finds God, he wont know where to start
Its kinda ironic how it all happened for me
Had to become a slave to God to set myself free
Im grateful to God that this lost soul has been found
Realizing in order to stand up you first must bow down

AsSalaamu Alaikum,
21:92 (Y. Ali) Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other).
In evaluating the problems which exist within the Muslim community, it could be argued that each would fit into one of 3 categories.
1) problems of the Muslim community at large, or as a group.
2) that which exists in the realm of the individual family or household.
3) that which is prevalent within the muslim as an individual.
However, if we were to seek to identify one common solution that would blanket all three, each solution concerns establishment of a functional structure. Structure may exist in the concepts and documents of Islam, but is not realized as something that actually exist today. The prerequisite to establish that structure begins with the Muslims establishing at least a basic level of unity. In spite of the fact that the majority of the muslims all agree on one common source of guidance (Quran and Sunnah) unity has been somewhat elusive. Why? Several reasons. One, is our lackadaisical approach to our practice as a group and maybe more significant, our inability to understand how to define unity. Unity is not everyone agreeing on everything, that will never happen. Unity is not everybody wearing turbans, or focusing on establishing the khilafate, or going out on jola, or sitting with a sheikh who lives 3000 miles away telling us how long our pants should be, or sitting in a circle making thikr. Unity will be established when everyone is involved in working in all three of the aforementioned areas (i.e. collectively, family, and individual).
Our glaring weakness is displayed in our lack of balance. Brother Fulan, starts his day going to the masjid for fajr. He is amongst the first to arrive at the mosque for jumuah prayer. He actively participates in the masjid social activities without fail. But because he is a part of a small minority that is active in the masjid, more work falls on his shoulders. So consequently he has to leave home earlier to make sure the mosque is open and stay later to make sure it is locked. But Fulan also works a job, has children from a previous marriage, and is always bombarded with calls from people who don’t feel comfortable talking to the “Imam”. Therefore the individual aspects of his “Islam” is lacking. His wife doesn’t get enough of his time, his children from the previous marriage don’t get to see him except when something goes wrong, and his personal study habits are poor.
Brother Abdullah, doesn’t have these issues. He also works a job but comes directly home from work and spends time with his family. He prays his fajr at home and thus strengthens his family ties (A family that prays together, stays together?), spends his weekends with his children from the previous marriage and helps out a lot in the household. His wife is very proud of him! He memorizes an ayat everyday, IN THE MASJID! But Brother Abdullah has no clue what’s going on in the masjid. Doesn’t realize that the electric bill has increased with the use of the fans (inner-city masjid) or air-conditioner (suburban masjid) in the summer. Doesn’t realize that the surrounding community has no clue what that funny noise is (athaan) that they hear five times a day. Doesn’t notice that the community is basically a commuter community because none of the brothers live near the mosque, even though he does see everyone that comes to jumuah is arriving in a car. In short he is a perfect 10 as a family man, and as an individual, but his community life sucks.
“2:143 (Y. Ali) Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, . . . “
The day has come when it is time for us as a whole to make effort to balance our Islamic lives with the same intense effort that we put into balancing our checkbooks, or our diets. We must begin to cultivate our soil in all areas of our life. Look at these two verses:
66:6 (Y. Ali) O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones
&
61:4 (Y. Ali) Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.
Since we know the Qur’an does not contain contradictions it is obvious that we are equally responsible to aid in the development ourselves, our families, as well as the community at large. The percentage of our energy that we exert in each area may be dictated by our resources, ability, or various other factors, but it is undeniably true that we MUST put effort in all around the board. Both Brother Fulan and Brother Abdullah should develop a schedule wherein they are spending some time in every area.
Next step . . . once we are all working in all 3 areas, we have the responsibility to connect our efforts so that each one strengthens the other. Everyone doesn’t need to be a hafiz. Nor a doctor. But we need doctors, hafiz, scholars, lawyers, and construction workers. We need people going out in the community doing outreach to add strength to the ummah. We need cabdrivers, telemarketers, and media people. Then we get behind our respective leadership and demand that they, as our leaders come together and form alliances.
I once told a guy from one of the street organizations that if they really wanted to stop the “gang” violence, then the GD’s have to marry into the families of the Vice-Lords. The Stones have to marry into the families of the Latin Disciples and so on. Similarly, we won’t see any muslim cohesion come about until the Arabs marry the people of African descent. The Pakistani has to marry into the family of the Bangladeshi, etc. And it cannot stop with our national heritage. ICNA members should spend some time involved with the work that IMAN is doing, and ISNA must get familiar with the work of MANA.
Then we will begin to understand that hajj, while it is a pillar of Islam, is only symbolic of the larger level of coming together, giving charity, making sacrifice, stoning the shaytan, and embracing the Muslim brotherhood that should be worked for on a daily basis.

A Poem by Abu Gutta
Abu Gutta is a Muslim poet. His ideals are sometimes controversial; but they always make you think. My publishing of his poems does not constitute agreement with all of his words and opinions- only recognition that the words will make you think.
Sleep…Dream
Post 9-11 era
War on terror
They tell the Muslims to combat fear
Bring the Disbelieving near
Interfaith or is it Intersnakes
Go to Capitol Hill to protest oil spills
While from Afghan to Somal they kill, kill, kill
Pardon me Mr. Muslim suit and tie
If I don’t wanna hold my tongue and lie
Maybe to go mainstream in Gomorrah I aint in no rush
I just wanna beat Obama’s ass like Bobby Rush
Then go to the Catholic Church and rescue little boys
Who the Fathers have turned into sex toys
March to the church of triple-chin Hagee
Choke the Christo-Zionist bastard with his hanky
I’m tired of puttin on the kind face to seem in place
Take booty-bandits from the Village to Top of Empire State
Spread some fir’ya on the body of Bill Maher
Lurk like a shadow over Rachel Maddow
Take a baseball bat to Hannity
Cure Sean of his insanity
Ravage Savage then leave the bodies of Hitchens twitchin
Do a Lesnar on the neck of Glenn Beck
Close my eyes and all the Muslim girls have video girl bodies
Then they all become niqaabis
Go for a honeymoon on the beaches of Trini
If I don’t get two witnesses our sins gonna be plenty
Babies with these sisters I’m gonna have many
Sons one day will live to fight the enemy
The Prophet told us to increase
Love and numbers in the end will bring Peace
But if you want to get that halal honey
You gotta go out and get that money
Work hard for this barbaric kafir all day
But one day I will collect the jizya and he will pay
Hijack a cargo ship then tell the brothers in Gaza I’m on the way
Hunt down the instigators in Mogadishu
Then head to the Frontier provinces too
Send Salaams to the Last Prophet
Beat the munafiqs eye out of its socket
Wont bow down to be slaves to the throne of Saudi
Princes of the “minhaj” with kafr b###### in their Audis
Thobe above your ankles but your Big Mac come with pig grease
Punk abeed of Madkhali will never know peace
Fixated on those things that mean nuthin
Your ulama sell out on those that mean sumthn
Brothers from the ghettos waiting for some cat from the Gulf to be his hero
Problems this sheikh from the desert can solve is ZERO
While you sittin in your derelict masjid backbitin
Our movement uplifting the downtrodden
Calling yourselves students of knowledge
Aint none of you brothers graduated from college
Security make way we bringing truth to the minbar
Real knowledge gonna penetrate through your bars
Alarm clock
Oh s### I’m late for work I gotta call the boss
Cant afford to take a loss
( editorial note: above is a poem about the dream of a Muslim man and it in no way endorses violence or anything illegal and is purely a work of fiction)

A Poem by BeeTrue
I will not be categorized as anything
There are many things I am but many more I’m not so do not try to box me up
You see I am a Muslim lady with purpose and mission
On the tip of my pen so I pick up my paper and I write
I write the description hereby explaining to you in scripting the plan for my life
Praying, speaking, spreading the light this motion picture is taking flight
And my sight sees so far my dreams it outlives
So with these words I’ll inspire and unify our father Adams kids
I will not be your cover girl
But this covered girl will be the leading example for ladies all over the world
My firm beliefs moves the minds and hearts of the youthful and wise
This passion you see in my eyes is not a statement
Merely a mental state meant to motivate you
It’s hard when you deny the truth so don’t try to
Listen with your heart and it will lead you in the right direction
I will not be bound by your derogatory terms
I’m not a terrorist, extremist, jihadist, supremacist, but an activist I am.
And I’m just acting through poetry so you can understand Islam
My way of life does not encompass compulsion
My way through strife is through purity and devotion
The universe will be my stage and I’ll traverse it with my poetry
Leave powerful expressions in your mind so next time we meet you’ll know it’s me
You can call me BeeTrue and poetess if you’de like
But I’m no more than a slave with paper pen and a mic
So I’m the first lady of the Firm Movement.
It’s the Firm, move, meant to bridge the gaps of the Ummah;
And I’m ready to move in unison
This unit sends a message to the people and it’s just the beginning so listen
From lips to ears verses travel through air impressing upon you this commitment
And I’m not committed to the people my loyalty is to the word
Just like the subject predicate owns the verbs
This is about taking a stand to be firm
